Facebook Page Managers – Facebook Adds ‘Page Management History’ Tab to Page Tools

These changes will hopefully make things easier for those who manage pages. Instead of guessing what’s changed, what hasn’t and who has taken actions, you now have a much easier way to check.

As reported by Social Media Today, Facebook has added a new ‘page management history’ tab to its list of page tools.

This offers page managers overviews of actions taken by page admins which includes role allocations, business manager relationships, contact information and more.

What changes am I able to see?

Plenty!

The new tab will show changes to:

  • Page roles: removals, additions and alteration to permissions.
  • Page settings: age restrictions, country restrictions, page name, usernames and contact information.
  • Business manager relationships: new claims of ownership and manager access removal.
  • Business manager invitations to access page: the tab will display whether these were rejected or accepted.
  • Confirmed pages owner: the tab will display any additions or updates.
  • Other: Group relationships.

According to Facebook:

“Your Page management history shows what management actions have been taken, when they were taken, and who took them. Only people who help manage your Page can see the Page management history.”

These changes will hopefully make things easier for those who manage pages. Instead of guessing (or at best estimating!) what’s changed, what hasn’t and who has taken actions, you now have a much easier way to check.

You can access the new tab via your page settings. In the options on the left side column, you should select ‘Page Management History Option’.

Though the option isn’t yet available on all pages, it will be soon, so look out for it on your page!
